Horse Pucky Advice: Nude Beach or Not

Dear Horse Pucky,

We have been invited to go to a resort in the Caribbean that has nude beaches only. My spouse and I aren't exactly in the greatest shape and are embarrassed to expose our never-seen-in-public-parts to the rest of the world. We don't want to be stick-in-the-muds or seem boorish. What should we do?

Dear F & C,

Let it all hang out and be sure to bring lots of sunscreen. It's a great incentive to get in shape together.

If this resort has "nude beaches only," one wonders what the breakfast bar is like.

On second thought, I guess that does not bear much contemplation at all. Sorry I mentioned it.

Contrary to popular belief, clothing optional beaches are not populated by aesthetically beautiful people. They are populated by free spirited people. There is no correlation between the two. My advice is: Hit the beach with your swimsuit on. Within thirty minutes you’ll feel so embarrassed by the swimsuit that you’ll have to remove it to feel normal. Enjoy (and don’t forget the sunscreen!)

Ev, I could be really crude, but I don't think I need to be. It has to do with Ritz crackers and eggs.

Randy, I totally agree. It's all a state of mind. It is embarrassing to wear a swim suit to these beaches. At least that's what they tell me.

BTW lightly, there are also nude beaches in Alaska. You have to belong to the Polar Bear Club. Or is it Polar Bare Club? I forgot.

It's all about being a free spirit. Yippee!

Regardless of how you spell it (bear or bare) a guy really has to feel secure with himself to run around nude in a cold climate... oops that was probably too much information.

you really don't want to witness that,
buddha and i attend the same fitness club

We all know what really cold weather does to various body parts of both genders. ;)

Buddha bodies can romp in the altogether no matter what the weather. It's that free spirit thing again.
