Happy Day

I want to wish all of you a happy day. Why? Probably because it's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. It's also Happy-the-Sun-is-Shining-in-Rochester, NY-Day, Happy Horse Pucky Day, Happy To Be Alive Day, National Be Good to a Cat Day, and Give Your Sweetie A Hug Day.

Please check this out for an inspirational message from the great Dr. King. http://www.thekingcenter.org/
You'll be happy you did.

I knew you would be, Randy, 'cause that's the kind of guy you are. It's a powerful message.

Have a beautiful week.

We don't hear enough of MLK's speeches other than "I Have a Dream" to understand just how eloquent he was. I caught one on the radio the other day and was as inspired as when I first heard him in the 60s, although not in person, unfortunately.

But I can't go along with his thesis that in order to serve, your subjects and verbs need not agree. Heresy does not become a man of the cloth.

Ev, just remember, none of those orators wrote any of their own speeches. They didn't have to worry about subject and verb agreement or even their own dangling participles.
