"Q" is for Quirify where you can generate QR codes. What is a QR code?

A QR code is a small, two dimensional bar code that is easy to scam with your mobile phone. Most of you probably already know this, but I'm technologically challenged and  just discovered it on the Internet looking for a different word for Jenny Matlock's, "Alphabet Thursday" .

If you scan the bar code above, you'll be able to download "Horse Pucky" onto your mobile phone. That is, of course, if you have absolutely nothing better to do or if you've had a tad too much of the bubbly.

While walking around town, you can whip out your mobile phone and scan a QR code on a poster to get information about an upcoming event, and then book tickets right from your phone. I think that's kinda' cool.

Get "quirified" by going to www.Quirify.com where you can get your own barcode for your blog or website.

Cooters

For the last six weeks I've been up to my neck in horse pucky both figuratively and literally speaking, which means I've been busier than a one-armed paper hangar. With the days rushing by, it just occurred to me that my birthday is next month and I'll be "gulp" 70 years old.

Here's the deal: I'm thinking about starting a breakfast/coffee/bar business called "Cooters". All the waitresses have to be 70 years old or over and wear white t-shirts with the word "Cooters" in bright red lettering. The lettering will have to be placed slightly lower on the t-shirt to accommodate the natural aging process of the servers.

Coffee, bloody Mary's, and mimosas will be served along with scrumptious breakfast cuisine. I have all sorts of ideas for an extensive, healthy, tasty menu. In addition, to set the mood, there will be cool jazz playing in the background, and Itsme can showcase her watercolor paintings in the restaurant.

What d'ya think about that y'all? 

Valentine

Buzi

Today marks the day I've had Buzi for exactly one year. She's come a long way in a year, having been abandoned in the dead of winter by her previous owners and suffering from all sorts of anxiety. Now she's happy, warm, safe, and content.

A previous post explained that Buzi means "kiss" in Polish and is pronounced Boojee. Buzi will always be  my Valentine cat because of the month she came to live with me.

Of course I had to take a picture to share with all of you. She wasn't at all happy with the flower around her neck, but posed briefly for a photo op.

I'll always miss Bear. He was such a tough guy cat and was my constant pal for 11 years, but "The Booj" has wheedled her way into my heart and has become the diva of our home.

Be sure to adopt an unwanted animal. There are so many out there looking for someone to love them. February is the month of love and Valentine's day. Give an animal a good home.
